L-Tyrosine contains Tyrosine, an amino acid which is naturally present as a free amino acid within the blood and nervous system tissues.

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and are needed in several internal functions of the body. They are classified as "essential" or "non-essential", with essential amino acids meaning they cannot be manufactured by the body and must be supplied in the diet to maintain good all-round health. Amino acids can be further used by the body to create hormones, enzymes, neurotransmitters, antibodies and nutrient carriers. A suboptimal intake of the essential amino acids increases the body's need for the non-essential amino acids either through diet or supplementation. Foods that increase amino acid intake are meat, beans, cheese and eggs.


Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid and can be found in dairy products, meats, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, oats and wheat. Tyrosine is the precursor of the stress hormones adrenaline and nor-adrenaline, which are responsible for the body's fight or flight' reaction. Chemical messengers that are involved in brain processes also uses Tyrosine.


L-Tyrosine 500 mg Vegetable Capsules come in a 1 capsule a day dose in easy to absorb vegetable form.

Dosage
As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) vegetable capsule one to four times daily, between meals or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner if any adverse reactions occur. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature. If you have changed your mind after the courier has picked up your order, then you must organise for the return of the products for a refund. The goods must be returned to Bay Supplements within 7 days of the goods being received, and in an unused and unopened condition. Unless the goods are faulty, the products will not be refunded or replaced if they are used and or opened. Return shipping for faulty goods will be covered by Bay Supplements. Return shipping for non-faulty goods will be covered by the customer.
